Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to delete the data OmniCommand holds about you and your business, what is deleted at each step, and the few records we keep afterwards. It also serves as the data-deletion instructions URL for platforms such as Meta.
A few terms used below: a workspace is your OmniCommand account container; a portfolio is one business or client inside it, with its own connected sources and data.
How to request deletion
- Disconnect a source. On the Sources page, use the disconnect control on the source's card (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console or Meta Ads). This deletes the access token in use for that source and stops all syncing from it. Data already synced stays in your portfolio until you request deletion (step 2 or 3). Disconnecting does not remove OmniCommand's permission inside your Google or Meta account; to remove that too, remove OmniCommand from the connected apps in your Google Account settings or from the business integrations in your Facebook settings.
- Request deletion from inside OmniCommand. In Settings, each Danger zone has a delete action: Delete portfolio (This portfolio › Portfolio), Delete workspace (Workspace › General; workspace admins only) and Delete account & all data (Profile & Security). Each one asks for a one-time code we email to you. Deleting a portfolio or a workspace is for workspace admins, and if the workspace has more than one admin it takes two codes: yours sends the request to the other admins, and nothing happens until one of them confirms it with their own emailed code. Any of them can decline it instead, and a request nobody answers within 7 days expires. A workspace's only admin needs just their own code, and so does deleting your account, which only you can do. A deleted portfolio moves to trash, where any workspace admin can restore it for 30 days. A workspace or account deletion is scheduled 30 days ahead and can be canceled until then: a workspace by any of its admins, and every member is emailed when it is scheduled or canceled; your account by signing in and canceling it. When the 30 days are up, the deletion is carried out automatically.
- Email us. Send your request to support@omnicommand.ai from the email address you sign in with. Say what you want deleted: a portfolio, a workspace, or your account. If you can't access OmniCommand, email us all the same.
What happens after you ask
- We confirm that we received your request within 3 business days.
- We complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving it.
- Deletions started in Settings email you a one-time code. People affected are emailed when a portfolio moves to trash or is restored, and when a workspace deletion is scheduled or canceled. No email is sent when a deletion is finally carried out.
- If the request doesn't come from the address on the account, we may ask you to confirm it from that address before we act.
- Deletion is permanent once processed. We can't restore deleted data.
Deleting a portfolio or workspace removes all of its data, as set out below.
Deleting your account removes your sign-in access, your memberships, your profile and your notification preferences. A workspace that only you use is deleted with it, with all of its data. A workspace other people use is never deleted as a side effect: if you are its only admin, you first make another member an admin or schedule that workspace's own deletion, and your account is deleted after that. In workspaces other people still use, the records you created there stay part of that workspace's history: your Ask Omni conversations, the support requests you filed, and the usage the workspace was billed for.
What is deleted, and when
Access tokens for Google and Meta
- When you disconnect a source: every access token we hold for that source is deleted and syncing stops.
- When the portfolio or workspace is deleted: we delete every stored token. We also ask Google or Meta to revoke OmniCommand's access when we know which account made the connection and no other connection uses that account; otherwise that access stays at the provider until you remove it. You can remove OmniCommand's access yourself at any time in your Google or Meta account settings.
- Kept after deletion: nothing. Tokens are always stored encrypted.
Synced performance data
This is the data we pull from your connected sources: campaigns, spend, clicks and conversions from Google Ads and Meta Ads, sessions and events from Google Analytics, and search queries and pages from Google Search Console.
- When you disconnect a source: already-synced data stays in your portfolio and stops updating.
- When the portfolio or workspace is deleted: deleted.
Lead Tracker uploads
- The spreadsheet file itself is never stored. We read it, keep the lead rows imported from it, and discard the file.
- Removing an upload from the Uploaded reports list takes it out of that list but does not delete the lead rows it added. To delete lead rows, request portfolio or workspace deletion.
- When the portfolio or workspace is deleted: deleted.
Findings, recommendations, notes, reports and written summaries
- When you disconnect a source: existing findings, notes and saved reports stay. New findings and summaries are generated without that source.
- When the portfolio or workspace is deleted: deleted, including saved reports, the history of findings, the notes written on recommendations and findings, and the record of AI usage.
Early access requests
- The request you made from our website, or when you tried to sign in before your access was approved (your name, email address, company, company website and any note), is kept until you ask us to delete it. Email support@omnicommand.ai from that address.
- When you delete your OmniCommand account: the request made under its email address is deleted with it.
- When a portfolio or workspace is deleted: the request is not affected; it belongs to you, not to the workspace.
Support requests
- When the portfolio or workspace is deleted: support requests filed from it, and the replies to them, are deleted.
- Kept: requests not tied to a workspace (for example, a report about an invitation you received) and the emails in our support mailbox, including your deletion request and our confirmation.
Records we keep after deletion
- Consent records. Which version of our Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, and when. We keep these as evidence of consent, as our Privacy Policy states. They are not deleted with a workspace or an account.
- Security and administration log. A record of administrative actions such as sign-ins, connections and changes to access.
- Retired identifiers. The IDs we issued are kept, marked as deleted, so that none is ever reused. A retired ID keeps only its type and dates; it no longer names the account, finding or other record it identified.
- Backups. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 35 days before being overwritten.
- Records required by law, such as accounting records, for as long as the law requires.
If you connected Meta Ads
OmniCommand asks Meta for access to your ad accounts' reporting data and only reads it: we never create, edit, pause, publish or delete anything in your Meta account. From Meta we store your selected ad accounts' performance and settings data (campaigns, ad sets, ads and creatives, with daily results by placement, device, country, region, and aggregated age and gender), plus an encrypted access token. To delete this data, follow the steps above. To also remove OmniCommand's access at Meta, remove it from the business integrations in your Facebook settings.
