What a report is. A report is a composed account of a portfolio's performance over a period: the findings, the numbers, and the evidence, written to be read by someone outside the tool. Unlike the live tabs, a report doesn't change after it's made: its numbers freeze when it is composed, and it keeps the period and the sources it was built from.
What's inside. A cover naming the client, the period and the sources; an executive summary; the headline numbers and the trend; the key findings with their recommended actions; and the focus for the next period. Standard and Full detail depth add a section for each channel, with its charts and table.
Composing one. Admins and Standard members compose reports from the Reports tab with New report: choose the date range, the depth (Summary, Standard or Full detail) and the channels to include, give it a title if you like, then Compose report. It is saved as a draft that only you and your admins can see.
Publishing. Publishing makes the report visible to everyone on the portfolio and emails them that it's ready. Only the person who composed a report can publish it, and publishing is final: a published report can be renamed or deleted, never unpublished or changed.
Exporting. A published report can be saved as a PDF with Export as PDF, which prints it in a light, client-ready layout with the client's name on the cover. A draft can't be exported until it's published.
Who can do what. Read only members can read published reports. Admins and Standard members compose, rename and publish their own. Whoever composed a draft can delete it; deleting a published report is for Admins. Deleting is permanent, and the report's ID is never reused.
